How to use
Accurate time tracking is essential for hourly workers, freelancers, and contractors to ensure correct payment. This timesheet calculator handles the math for you — enter your clock times and breaks, and it computes your total hours and pay including overtime. The overtime feature uses a per-day threshold (typically 8 hours) and applies the multiplier (usually 1.5× for time and a half) to hours exceeding that threshold.
Break deductions are subtracted from the total time between clock-in and clock-out. If you clock in at 9:00 AM, clock out at 5:00 PM, and take a 30-minute lunch break, your worked hours are 7.5 hours. The calculator handles this automatically for each day. You can set different break durations for different days.
Overnight shifts are supported automatically. If your clock-out time is earlier than your clock-in time (for example, in at 10:00 PM and out at 6:00 AM), the calculator assumes you worked through midnight and calculates 8 hours. The weekly summary breaks down regular hours and overtime hours separately, making it easy to verify your paycheck.
